その時間の問題にぶち当たるのが、Part5とそこから

すすんでいくリーディングセクションです。

時間対策の肝は、Part5をいかにスムースに

説いていくことが、TOEICの点数が伸びるかどうか

左右します。

ToeicのPart5セクションは対策によって点が伸びやすい

パートです。

点をとるためにポイントなのは、スピードとそれぞれ

の文法の単元で、重要となるところを確実におさえて

おくことです。

そこで今回は、Part5の重要項目である、強調構文

、とくにItの用法についてはよく出るパターンです。

今回は、この構文を解くさいのコツについて解説してみたいと

思います。

時を表すitの構文

it was …. before SVの過去形

SがVするまで…がかかった

it will be…. before SVの現在形

it takes … for N to Vb / it takes N…. to Vb

NがVするには….がかかる。

It was a decade before the superpower got over the shock of

losing the war, and it took even longer for the psychological scars to heal.

その超大国が敗戦のショックから立ち直るまで１０年かかｋった、そして

精神的な傷跡が癒えるまで長い年月がかかった。

It has been …. since S Vの過去形

It is ….. since S Vの過去形

…. have passed since S V の過去形

例文

・It has been twenty years since he started writing.

・It is twenty years since he started writing.

・Twenty years have passed since he started writing.

It is time S Vの過去形

（過去形の場合は過去においてそうすべきだという意味が込められている）

Itが目的語として使われるパターン

see to it that~ となるようにとりはからう。

take it for granted that ~  ～を当然のことと考える

have it (from …）that~   ..から～だと聞いている。

…has it that~  …によれば～だという

proportion to incentives offered, such as bonus payments

and speedy promotion.

労働生産性はボーナスや昇進に比例するというのが一般的な

考え方だそうです。

強調構文を解説すると
